League Facts
Divisions:
Hoopsters- Grades K-1, Co-Ed League Play
Grade 2, Co-Ed League Play
Prep- Grades 3 and 4, Co-Ed League Play
Grades 5 and 6, League Play
Grades 7 and 8, League Play
Girls Middle School- Grades 5-8, League Play (*Will be divided into Gold and Silver Divisions given sufficient numbers)
High School Hoops- Recreational Round Robin play for boys and girls in grades 9-12
*Rosters for the recreational divisions are formed through a player placement workout process and all players will receive fair playing time. As close to half of each game, including playoffs, as feasible.
**Open Divisions- For boys and girls TEAMS, grades 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8. The Open Divisions will be further divided into Gold and Silver Divisions (based on skill level and experience) given sufficient number of teams registered. Full rostered teams may enter these divisions with the understanding that there is no guaranteed playing time for players.
Player Eligibility:
- Players may play on more than one team, but must be in a different division
- Players may play in an older division; however, playing in their grade division cannot be more than one year older than their current grade
Costs:
Hoopsters- $115 per participant
Prep- $115 per participant
Girls Middle School- $115 per participant
Open Division TEAMS- $1100 per team (*cost is based on teams up to 10 players, each additional player is $110)
High School Hoops- $50 per participant (includes reversible jersey only)
*Registration fees are non-refundable and are payable at time of registration.
Registration Dates:
Registration will be at the Lake Brantley Athletic Complex Fieldhouse. Early registration will be accepted by mail to Winning Ways Sports Management, Inc., P.O. Hoopsters (grades K thru 2): September 21, 2009 from 6-9pm
Prep (grades 3 and 4): September 21, 2009 from 6-9pm
Prep (grades 5-8): September 22, 2009 from 6-9pm
Girls Middle School (grades 5-8): September 23, 2009 from 6-9pm
Open Divisions: September 23, 2009 from 6-9pm
Late Registrations: September 24, 2009 from 6-9pm
High School Hoops: November 9 and 10, 2009 from 6-9pm
Player Placement Workouts:
Player Placement Workouts will be held for all participants in the Hoopsters, Prep, and Girls Middle School Divisions. Team assignments will be made following the Placement Workouts.
Hoopsters- Monday, October 12, 2009 at 6pm
Prep (grades 3-4)- Monday, October 12, 2009 at 7:30pm
Prep (grades 5-6)- Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 6pm
Prep (grades 7-8)- Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 8pm
Girls Middle School- Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at 6pm
*All player placement workouts will be held at the Lake Brantley Athletic Complex Fieldhouse
League Play:
The league (for all divisions except High School Hoops) will run mid November thru the end of February.
High School Hoops will begin on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at the Lake Brantley Fieldhouse. The program will run from 7:30-9:30pm every Wednesday for 8 weeks.
